Sydney Hobart 2014…

UPDATE: Unfortunately a major health problem with the owner of the S&S 34 ‘Wilparina’ has forced the boat to pull out of this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart race…Meanwhile, I’m looking for a last minute back up rideMeanwhile, finished installation of new aft bulkhead out of biaxiel fiberglass with marine ply core and west system epoxy, stronger than the original and proud of myself as was quoted by yard as a ten thousand dollar job due to limited interior access etc. Thus me, Linda and Paul conspired, researched and did it ourself…PROUD Will post some pics… My S&S 34 ‘Gitano Banou’ & Linda Pasquariello’s S&S 34 ‘Yemaya’ have certaintly enjoyed their joint pit-stops at Svedsons boatyard in San Francisco with our installations of solar, ORCA LED mastlights, interior LED cabin lights, AIS, Active Echo, SSB, FLIR, new standing rigging, new chainplates, new thru hulls, new Aries windvane, Rolly Tasker mainsail etc on not one but TWO boats = two happy girls Meanwhile, Linda ‘s now installing a Maxwell anchor windlass on ‘Yemaya’ as I await the verdict on a potential backup ride for this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart race before we go ‘somewhere’ ______/)__/) ‘Gitano’ pictured… Gotta love that sexy weapon !
